# Storefront Analytics

> Merchant-owned Storefront event projections for funnel, product, search, and revenue reporting in the Store Runtime.

  **Experimental.** Browser events are reporting input, never commerce truth. They cannot create or change GMV, revenue, Inventory, Loyalty, Payment, Checkout, or Order facts. Build authoritative reports from the server-side domains that own those facts. See [maturity levels](/docs/resources/versioning).

The Storefront Analytics [Module](/docs/concepts/modules) records browser events in the [Store Runtime](/docs/concepts/architecture) database: page views, product views, add-to-cart actions, [Checkout](/docs/concepts/commerce-model) starts, and reported purchases. It builds merchant-owned funnel, product, search, and revenue projections from those events and can feed your [Third-party Analytics](/docs/resources/glossary#third-party-analytics) Integrations.

This Module is Experimental. It is separate from [86d Observability](/docs/resources/glossary#86d-observability), which covers 86d.app and managed-service health and errors, and from your own Third-party Analytics [Integrations](/docs/concepts/connections) such as GA4 or a tag manager.
