# Flash sales

> Time-limited sale events for 86d with countdown timers, scheduled start and end, and short-window discounts.

The Flash Sales [Module](/docs/concepts/modules) runs sale events that start and end on their own schedule. Each event applies a discount across selected products or collections, shows a countdown timer on the [Storefront](/docs/concepts/storefront), and emits `flash-sale.started` and `flash-sale.ended` events for downstream automation.

## Installation
