# Tipping

> Add tip options at Checkout in 86d. Preset percentages or a custom amount, added to the Order total as a separate line item.

The Tipping [Module](/docs/concepts/modules) adds a tip step to [Checkout](/docs/concepts/commerce-model): preset percentages (10, 15, 20) or a custom amount. The Module applies the tip to the [Order](/docs/concepts/commerce-model) total and records it as a separate line item for accounting.
