# Waitlist

> Capture interest in upcoming or out-of-stock products in 86d. Notify Shoppers when a product is available.

The Waitlist [Module](/docs/concepts/modules) lets [Shoppers](/docs/resources/glossary#shopper) join a waitlist for any product. When the product becomes available (a preorder window opens or a backorder is replenished), the Module fires a `waitlist.notify` event for each subscriber.
